2017 PNT Symposium

Our 11th annual PNT symposium was held on November 7-8, 2017 in the Kavli Auditorium at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory above the Stanford campus. This year's symposium spanned only two days, rather than two and a half days as in previous years. The first day was devoted entirely to 12 student presentations, and the second day featured presentations from 12 invited PNT professionals.

Taken as a whole, the presentations provided participants with an up-to-date overview of PNT-related technologies, research, issues and solutions. During the evening of the second day, participants were invited to attend a banquet at the Stanford Faculty Club, featuring a talk by Robert Byer, Stanford Professor of Applied Physics,  on the topic: LIGO and Gravitational Waves — Einstein, Lasers, Black Holes and Neutron Stars!
