2022 PNT Symposium
Our 16th annual PNT Symposium will be held in person on Wednesday, October 12th and Thursday, October 13th. This year, we are returning to our usual in-person presentations in the Kavli Auditorium at the SLAC National Laboratory above the Stanford University campus. We will also be live-streaming the presentations via Zoom and/or video for those participants who cannot or do not wish to attend in person. Following are the highlights of this year's PNT Symposium.
Symposium Agenda, Speakers and Banquet Dinner
This year's symposium is scheduled for two days from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), with a banquet dinner and talk on Thursday night, October 13th at the Stanford Faculty Club. We have invited some excellent speakers this year. See the current list of invited Speakers in the 2022 PNT Symposium Flyer below. A more detailed agenda will be available as the symposium date nears.
As in past PNT symposia, the first day will feature student presentations, and the second day will feature invited presentations.
- Wednesday, October 12th — Invited Student Speakers Presentations
- Thursday, October 13th— Invited Speakers Presentations and SCPNT Banquet Dinner and Speaker at the Faculty Club on the Stanford campus.
This year, the symposium will be held in person in the Kavli Auditorium at the SLAC National Laboratory, located above the Stanford University campus. A virtual Zoom and video option will also be offered. The banquet dinner/talk on Thursday evening, October 13th will be at the Faculty Club on the Stanford campus.
Covid-19 Rules and Caveats (Please Read)
SLAC is a joint Stanford/DOE facility. The rules are generally more strict than on the Stanford main campus. Just recently, the rules have been relaxed. So, at least for now, masks are optional, and no proof of vaccination is required. However, if cases increase, the prior rules may be reinstated, and proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test within 72 hours will be required for entry into the Kavli Auditorium. If a serious outbreak of Covid-19 recurs, additional restrictions such as reduced meeting size and required masking may be imposed. In the case of an extremely severe Covid-19 outbreak, the in-person meeting may be canceled.
